Renaissance Poster
(THIS HAS BEEN IN MY DRAFTS FOR GOD KNOWS HOW LONG AND I APOLOGIZE BUT MY POSTER WILL MAKE UP FOR IT BECAUSE IT REFERS TO THE BACKSTREET BOYS AND WHO DOESN'T LOVE THE BACKSTREET BOYS AM I RIGHT LADIES)

My project was lost a day before the due date so I resulted in taping four pieces of paper together. My information is a A, but I thing it doesn't look as tidy as I planned it to be. It has a key, is colour coated, has visuals, and has a relation to a modern pop culture figure. The backstreet boys was very original in my opinion and every time I think about it I laugh because I'm hilarious. Overall, I think I deserve a B+ fur being able to accomplish what I did in the small amount of time I had.

From these two assignments(previous post and this one), I learned that I need to CHECK THE BLOG and ask peers when things are due. I was away the day the due date was announced and I made it harder for myself, but I pulled both assignments off fairly well.

For both posters, I am proud of different things. For religion, I was proud of the visuals. I like how we made it as if it were asking a question and we answered it. For my renaissance, I liked the amount of information I had. I used the majority of my notes and what I had from my book.

 Religion reflections

Purpose/Intention

These two posters purposes were very close, but the way we presented them were galaxies away. For our religion poster, the intention was to simply show how a lesser known religion or way of life related to confirmed religions. In my project, I was trying to prove that West Coast aboriginal was a religion, and not a way of life. My Partner and I's way of showing this was almost like a questionnaire. In headers we wrote (ex:/)"Is there this?" and "Is there that?"  and if in West Coast Aboriginal there was one of these things, we would show that in pictures, subbing out a "yes". For our Renaissance poster, we couldn't use pictures or just charts, we had a lot of information to pack in. My renaissance poster is way more informative and definitely has a lot more words. You can tell which poster had more effort put into it.

 2 stars and a wish

Star: We spaced our pictures out well so it was easy on the eyes.We labeled pretty well and made our answers quite obvious
Star: We used images to draw attention and make it easier to understand. I find that a poster with a lot of words can be a bother to look at and read, so having it more of a visual aid  draws more people to look at it.
Wish: COLOUR. Mine and Rosa's colour printers weren't working, so we had to use the schools black and white printer. It was the least that could have been done and our poster would have been way more interesting with it.

definition poem

The insomnia, the late nights
The anxiety and stress
Every inch of you wanting to give up,
but everyday you're one step closer to the end
to the heaven you've created
to everything you've been working for
to the future that has been created for you
to the norm that has been drilled into us
we are working for success,
but the success isn't for us anymore
you work to be rewarded
to show i hopes of reward
because our world is a jungle
everyone wanting number 1
and destroying everything on the way

Descriptive Poem - The Reckless Boy

As he sits on the side of the frail decrepit bench,
He gives out a reticent sigh as his shoulders start to tense.
His eyes stare bare over the jeering clouds,
Over the rooftops as his mind starts to calm down.
Grabbing the side of his stomach as tears start to form,
The tears rolled down as he couldn't take it anymore.
He squirmed and rolled like he was twisted from fate,
He stands up and runs to the river, like it's already too late.
Without caring, arms open and ready to plunge,
As one last tear rolled down, he gave up with a lunge.
The cold water embraced him like the hug his mother once gave,
As he sunk deeper thinking of his mother, he was really digging his own grave.

Religion And Renaissance Refletions

2 things my partner and I did well in this project s use our space, nothing was squished together. Another thing we did was use pictures to show things, however we did label what they meant.
One thing we could've improved on is using color just so it makes things easier to see.

I think this poster is at a B range. Things I believe I did good on is organizing. I put different subjects in different colors to make it easier to see, however, there are colors like the pale yellow and lime green that was hard to show the difference in the legend. I had a legend like the criteria said. The title name is Renaissance which is pretty much what the whole project is about so it is relevant. I had two diagrams to show difference between things like the criteria said, I didn't have any connections to show what is related to another subject. I used a word to make up each subject, for example, clothes I wrote layers under men and rich. That meaning the rich men wore layers. I think I succeeded one using own words to make a meaning. I could've put a lot more visuals for each subject so I can't say I did will on that part. So that is why I believe I deserve a B on this project.

Religion & Renaissance Reflection

For my religion poster, I think I did ok. The biggest thing I would change would be to make everything bigger. It's not as good as my Renaissance poster, but i would give it a B or an A.

For my Renaissance poster was very well done in my opinion. I had a good amount of info and it was all organized into different sections and colour-coded too. I used pictures, a Venn Diagram, and i had a legend. I really think this deserves an A, because I have just about everything listed under the A section.

Reflection Questions - Renaissance and Religious Projects

Purpose and Intentions
The purpose of these two projects were that both were done with informative and imagery project. They both are the same kind but they're also very different, The Renaissance project was used to project various topic about the Renaissance including multiple pictures graphs and other various things. The Religion project was used to project imagery, also saying it's physical appearance. The Religion project portrayed more pictures than of words. However both projects had to have the specific amount of information.
Religion Poster

1st Star: I really liked how I kept my project neat and plain, really simple and easy to read. It was more easier to talk about my project having small points. Not too much info just a couple of key points and 3 different variety of pictures.

2nd Star: I enjoyed the colorful designs around my project including all the expectations for the answers. Also how I put each question onto the project and having point form answers with my explanation on another piece of paper.

Wish: I wish to enlarge my pictures and add even a couple more because the Religion project is based on the physical appearance of the paper. Also print the writing bigger because you are still unable to see from that far of a distance.
Renaissance Poster

If I could give myself a grade I'd give myself a B because I did not try the best of my abilities to do this project. My information was pretty informative but it was a bit hard to read. Ive colour coded the tiny topics.

What did you learn from these two assignments?
That I should make draft or rough before the grandest project, what I did was draw it on the project itself. Getting the biggest or most important photos or topics bigger. Both of these assignments have been a big wake up call for me. I've learnt how to put things importantly throughout a project spacing things out.

What are you most proud of?

What I am most proud of is probably how I put my information, I've multiple sources of information in many things (Books, Internet, Textbooks, etc.). Also how I decided to layout my project or assignment. Color coding as well, making the bigger topics larger and more easier to see. Making the Assignment much easier and plain.
